NEMESIS:Does the 1701-E have a Battle Bridge?

The two weird black panels on the ventral part of the Sovereign stardrive are meant to be powered down impulse engines. They could power up on detaching, but they're in an odd place.

All impulse engines are, I guess.

(Most of the ventral hull is an homage to the Excelsior design. Did Sulu's ship have secret impulse engines down there, too?)

The battle bridge definitely exists on the 1701-E, ISTR it's even identified on the Enterprise-E's master systems display on the bridge. And while it was never demonstrated on film, John Eaves' designs for the E do include sections that could, possibly, indicate separation lines in the event of a saucer sepper being necessary. The model itself wasn't built to separate, but I don't doubt that the ship itself could have done. :)
