Negative responses to the Movie threads are being closed?!

Sorry, but why are negative response to the film threads being closed? There was nothing wrong with my thread ("I want my money back!") or its responses. No one was being mean or nasty.

Why close the discussion?! Thats a bit strange.

Well it's a good thing that negative threads are being moderated a bit more, it was kind of annoying to come to this forum and see nothing but negative comments about Star Trek.

Sometimes they're just flame bait from grumpy hate-filled fringe Trekkies.

Sometimes the discussion in the thread simply turns into everyone biting everyone else's heads off and then it gets locked.

Actually your post really wasn't positive or negative and was closed because of all the dancing around the Roddenberry bush. It was kinda a thread full of your opinion and not much progressive discussion. I mean really you stated your opinion and then it flew off into a tangent that wasn't nessaccary for moving into the review thread (Not your original post but the non-sequitor discussions that followed nettering you about your opinion. So I guess it was a discussion thread that was closed because there really wasn't much discussion going on... Sorta rambling banter.

It seems the positive/negative representation in this forum is totally in line with the reviews people are giving the movie (see the score on rottentomatoes.com). In fact, this thread might already be too much. Let's start some positive threads, guys.

That's true but when it comes to nothing but negatives it doesn't pay to come visit these forums, which is why I stayed away for a long time. I kind of got tired of the negative reviews that Enterprise got when it was on.

I think you are mistaken. This privately owned board is not about free speech. Someone owns it and gets to decide what he wants to see and what he doesn't.
