Need Armada I help!

Hey guys, I know the game is ancient, but hey, why not?

I'm at the end of the first Romulan mission where you have to capture the Omega particle. I captured it with the containment vessel and dragged it back to the Romulan base. I released the tractor beam, and nothing happened. How do you get this mission to end once you've gotten the Omega particle and all the Cardies are wiped out?

I'll be playing this one again soon. I haven't started the Romulan mission. I'm still on the last Klingon one. Now I just restarted college so it may take a while.

I haven't played the single player missions since it came out. I would try literally dragging it on top of the starbase.

Yeah I seem to recall that you just kind of drag it over the Starbase, you may not even need to manually release it.
Ancient games rock, especially ancient Trek games!

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to drag the bloody thing right over the starbase in the northeast corner of the map, but nothing happens. Might be a glitch, not something I'm doing wrong.

Yeah. I'm enjoying ancient games more and more. Maybe I'm getting ancient myself!

Sounds like theer will be a reallyu damaged ship hidden in a nebula shomewher you need to destroy. I suggest creating loads of scouts with long range scanners and literally cover the entire map with them so the hole area is bveing scanned.

So you're saying I need to wipe out all Cardassian units, even though it's not part of the objectives?

I thought it was the Borg hounding you in the omega particle mission? I don't remember there being Cardassians around, I could be wrong though it's been quite a few years.

I don't suppose you'd like to contribute to the Armada section of our games wiki? We have a good start but people actively playing the game are few, and so is the number of people willing to contribute to a wiki. I'm extending an invite to you (and anyone else) in the hopes we may get lucky.

Mission listing and descriptions would be a great thing to add.

I honestly can't remember - its worth a try if you think you have the resources to do it. Else, enable the cheat codes and skip the level (or make lots of dilithium and build a massive fleet to ensure the easy destruction of the Cardies).

If so, any interest in playing some head to head over the internet?

I still break Armada 1 out and go to town somewhat regularly.
