Need accurate dimensions for TOS Enterprise interior sets

I have some AA TOS figures, and I've been thinking about making partial set models in scale with them. To do that I need to know their original dimensions. Right now I just want to focus on the Transporter room. Does anyone have any measurements for that set, specifically the dimensions for the transporter chamber/pad?

Nothing really on the transporter room, but here's a thought.

Dig up that old Stage 9 drawing from "The Making of Star Trek". The interior of the bridge is about 30 feet, give or take a few inches. Build up a scale from that, and you should be okay.

Since the AA figures aren't exactly to perfect scale, it should be clsoe enough.

Thanks! :)

Now, what would be the best way to make the transporter? Actually finding a cylindrical object of the right size, and the right material to easily cut and carve will be difficult. Any suggestions?
