NCIS: New Orleans Season One Discussion

I would have sworn that the daughter was dirty. She seemed like she was fishing for information in the interview scene, using her knowledge of him and his family to gain trust. Looking for an advantage. Still not convinced she wasn't.

The Baitfish guy will be back.

That outcome could still be possible in the follow up episode, whenever that comes to pass.

I, too, believe this is the case. Time will tell.

Last night's episode was pretty cool. It reminded me of the classic film noir D.O.A.

I enjoyed tonight's episode. It was great to get more on Baitfish. Bakula did an amazing job as always.

And I see my suspicion voiced in post #60 in this thread was one on the money :)

Now we just need the closing part but according to my EPG, no NCIS:NO next week and for the week after there's no episode description.

But maybe they'll save if for the seaon finale.

While I didn't voice my suspicion in this thread (probably because you beat me to it Marc), I too suspected the daughter and said as much to my folks.

I like that it feels like they do more location work than they do on NCIS (really, I'm tired of seeing the same backlot streets over and over again).

Never having been to New Orleans I'm not sure how much actual on location shooting they do, but it does look nicer.

If you've seen a NCIS show before (or just a procedural in general) this show doesn't do a whole lot to break from the formula, so take that as you will.

Tonight was the season finale. I really enjoyed it, the stakes were high, and there was some good character development. It is cool that Sonja appears to be joining the team. I'm looking forward to next season.

I knew they were going to get another agent by the start of Season 2. It seems to be the status quo for these NCIS shows, a team of four agents.

I just thought it was going to be Diane Neal, who plays the Coast Guard Agent who's also shown up on the main NCIS. Her character even joked with Pride a while back about joining.

Maybe she just didn't want to commit to series work again.

They did seem to set it up, but can't find any confirmation that Shalita Grant is being made a permanent. It could come later as I found refered that she's appearing in a 6 part drama for PBS.

The season finale was somewhat of a let down considering the big build up of the Broussard family syndicate. Gotta say, though, Stacy Keach was a highlight to watch - he's that good, and I am happy that Sonja will be joining the team.

This show really hit it's stride there in the last few episodes. I actually am looking forward to more NO than I am NCIS. I just wish they would tone Sebastian down a little bit. The nerd jokes he makes aren't even funny.

And it's obvious they all make fun of him when he's not in the room if they'll do it to his face. Every. Single. Episode. Maybe people who don't like science fiction laugh. I don't know.
