That...was a poorly written finale. Tony implied that they kept in touch via email and cell phone last week from the way he said it, as if it was a regular thing between them and Ziva kept the fact she had his baby a secret?
And I absolutely do not buy the idea Ziva stayed in her father's farmhouse, especially with how her father made so many enemies and now that he was gone...

Tony could have just as easily quit to be with Ziva and their daughter. They didn't have to kill off Ziva.
Well, I'm glad they didn't kill Tony. I wasn't into the whole Tony/Ziva thing so her loss didn't bother me all that much.The daughter...a bit cheesy but ok.

I looked at the comments on the CBS' NCIS page and someone mentioned how there was a go-bag with a picture of Tony and Ziva. That's a good point. Ziva wouldn't have one (especially one with that picture) if she thought all was well. Ziva knew there was danger. I think Mossad was into it. I was thinking there was no way the Mossad would miss a 30K transaction involving a Palestinian which seems to be known to some agencies already.

I'm still 50/50 on whether I liked the finale or not. I was a huge fan of Tony and Ziva together, so this was "bittersweet" I guess. I do know that next season is one I will probably load up on my DVR and watch over the summer. I've been pretty disappointed in this season overall and I fell like it's slowly eroding to levels that aren't must see TV or even something to watch on the weekends before a nap.
I wish they would have done that. But oh well. At least they handled it better than Castle. That felt tacked on by comparison.
After the finale I mentioned to my brother that Abby better be careful, since TPTB shot Kate and blew up Ziva, the trend with female characters dying violently on this show doesn't look good.
That's when he reminded me about Jenny Shepard.

What was wrong with how Cote de Pablo left the show?
She'd been there 8 years, felt her character wasn't evolving enough to hold her interest and gave TPTB plenty of notice? Why was that so angst inducing the TPTB would want to kill off her character so completely? And if that's the criteria, why not kill off Weatherly's Dinozzo in the same way?

Me neither. I actually like Bishop more. And Wickersham is a much better actor. I could do without the extramarital subplot though.
