NCAA/NFL Pick'ems

How in the world did I stay on top?!? I had a terrible showing this week, and I was only ahead by 2 or 3 points...

I'm still having a horrible luck picking the spread. I think I'm going to vote for all underdogs next week.

Wow, a ton of upsets in the NFL this week killed my score, and the couple of upsets I did pick ended up not being upsets.

I did okay this week. I even picked the Bengals to beat the spread against the Giants!

:techman:

I've done decently enough in the NCAA picks, maintianing 3rd place. Bu the NFL..... a disaster fore me. Especially since I completely forgot to enter my picks in week 2. :o

If it's any consolation, I did that on the NFL picks one week. Not that I've done all that well in weeks when I managed to actually enter my picks. :p

I made my picks in 2 minutes early this morning because I completely forgot until then. So far, I seem to be doing about average.

Whoa.... I just checked and this is the best I've ever done on the college picks. The olny three that are "incorrect" are games I missed due to the point spread. Everything else I picked the right winner, even with the points. And it looks like the only two games left open, I will go 1-1.

Yeah, and next week I'll get maybe 3 right out of them all. :p

^You both had good weeks. Congrats!

I tried going opposite of what I thought, and I sucked again- only 6 correct in the college Pick'em this week. I just don't have a clue when it comes to the NCAA.

Quick question, is there any advantage to a push over a loss? I had two pushes this week.

Why exactly do some games end up being pushes? I mainly wonder because I'm pretty sure that both of those pushes cost me a point in the NFL.

A push is when the final score and the spread are exactly the same. On those games, everybody pushes.

I did pretty good today. 8 right.

I knew the Bengals wouldn't lose by more than 17.

Another week, and another round of sucking in the NCAA Pick'em. I'm barely holding my own in the Pros, but everything I've tried in college has backfired. Next week I'm having my step-dog make my picks: Whichever team he slaps his wet nose on is the team I'm taking.

On the plus side, I'm still alive in the TBBS Survivor: I've been the last one standing for three weeks, but I plan to keep going until I'm knocked off the board.

I'm really starting to hate the NFL. I can't get a Sunday Night or Monday night game right, and the week where the Monday Nighter seems obvious, the Giants freaking lose. That, and it seems like I curse my fantasy players. Not a good week this week. :(
