USC has closed it to 21-14, but I have to admit I'm impressed with the way OSU is playing tonight.
No kidding. USC is clearly one of, if not THE top program in the country the past several years. Yet there has often been one game where they somehow overlook their opponent. Or it at least appears they overlooked them.I find it astonishing how often USC manages to lose a game that will have people calling them "overrated" no matter what they do with the rest of their year.
I might do the same, but it would depend mightily upon just to whom those two losses were for that SEC team. For all its success, the SEC consistently plays more non-BCS schools than anyone else. Maybe that's the way to go, given their usual post-seasons success. For example, if LSU's 2 are against Florida and Georgia, then it depends how close those game were. OTOH, if even oen of the losses is to say Tulane or Arkansas, then all bets are off.Frankly, I'd take a two-loss SEC team over an 11-1 USC or Ohio State for a BCS championship game.
Georgia.... I'd go with for sure, but I think I'd take Oklahoma before 'BamaLooks like the Georgia-Alabama winner this weekend has strongest claim to number one thus far.
