NBC/SyFy Preps Chuck for January Season Premiere

What, is there a 3D episode in S2? I didn't get 3D glasses in my set either.

"Chuck Versus the Third Dimension" was originally broadcast in 3D, and the first printing of the DVDs at least were supposed to come with glasses and a 3D version of the episode. But like I said, I can live without it.

So... did they build an entire Best Buy on a sound stage? 'Cause it looks like either they shoot on a real one or they recreated the entire thing on a vast studio space. Seems like that would be really, really expensive!

For those wondering why some of the disks don't have the 3d it seems some people on avsforum found out what happened. Basically, TW ended up needing to print more than they originally expected and they couldn't get more 3D glasses quickly. Rather than ship 3D disc without the glasses they just made a non 3d version.

I don't remember there being any real worthwhile 3D moments anyway, so it's not a huge loss IMO.

No, the whole 3D thing was more of an NBC gimmick than an actual Chuck thing. I watched the original episode in 3D, and it barely did anything.

Sarah vs. Chloe?!?!?

My two favorite women currently on television, and I am supposed to choose between them? :wtf:
I know right? I think I may have to flip a coin.

That reminds me, who's going for footlongs on Sunday?
Yeah, never got around to buying one last time around but Chuck season 3 deserves a special effort. :D

Zach: best promo EVAH!

PS, Sarah vs Chloe SMACKDOWN!

I gotta go with Chloe, sorry...but Sarah's in prime position to take it all.

Erica from V survived until the previous round (think Sarah knocked her out). I'd been voting for her the whole time. I'm just pleased to see that it didn't come down to Gossip Girl vs Grey's Anatomy because it was looking pretty bad for a while there... :rommie:

Can't wait for Chuck tonight! I started watching the show over the summer, so this is the first time I'll get to see it on TV (other than on Syfy this week).

A little pointless speculating: Jeff Gaspin, who's the entertainment boss at NBC, attend the Television Critics Association's Press Tour today where he was asked about the Leno/O'Brien fiasco'scimpact on Chuck. He said, "I wouldn't say the bar has been lowered, but our opportunities are more limited."

So, here's hoping that we can finesse this programming disaster into season 4 of Chuck!

Ugh, I didn't get to finish my marathon! I might have to skip the middle of Season 2 and just watch the final couple episodes before the premiere tonight.
