Good news for those of you wanting to get caught up with Chuck!

NBC/Universal's SyFy channel is running a marathon of Chuck episodes, an abbreviated rundown of season two, in preparation for the show's third season premiere. The marathon takes place on Thursday, January 7. It starts at 5pm and goes to 1am.

The season three premiere is on the following Sunday, January 10, with a two hour back-to-back showing of the first two episodes of the season at 9pm on NBC. And they follow up the next day, Monday the 11th, by going back to their regular 8pm slot with the third episode of the season. There they will stay in their 8pm Monday slot until NBC goes to Olympic programming in late February.

I am really looking forward to this show. If you like pure nerd-fantasy with comedy, action and romance all in healthy quantities, check out this show if you aren't already on the bandwagon. I will be here to start the discussion threads as I have the last two seasons. See you there!

Yes, I too feel like it has been too long a wait for new episodes. But we are down to just a couple of weeks before they start up again at least. It's the home stretch BuyMorians!

I am thinking we should all show our support by going to Subway on the 10th and buying a footlong for the premiere. Mmmm... a chicken teriyaki sandwich does sound good...

As excited as I am that it's coming back, I kind of wish it wasn't happening for a few more weeks. There's not enough time for my friends and I to get together and marathon the first two seasons on DVD!

I wish Subway would do something about their mushy buns. Even toasting doesn't firm them up enough to be worth eating. Hmm, that sounded dirtier than intended. :rommie:

Looking forward to Zach Levi back on TV, for as long as it lasts (and then seeing him get another show quickly.) :bolian:

Bump.

Less than a week to go now. The marathon on SyFy is this Thursday. The Season Two DVD comes out on Tuesday. And we are now getting ads for the premiere right here on this website! (that's not a complaint, btw) To say I am stoked about the return of this show is quite the understatement. We have waited so long... only seven more nights to go...

Are you going to be able to have that season 2 marathon with your friends this weekend before the premiere? Maybe you can take advantage of the marathon Syfy is doing on Thursday? They are cherrypicking the episodes from season 2 that have the guest stars, right on up to "Chuck vs. The Ring" airing at midnight. The last five episodes are still up over at Hulu as well (link to that is in my sig). To get primed and pretty much up to speed on the series you really shouldn't have to go back much further than "Chuck vs. The Dream Job" where Chuck finds his dad. And the Chuck/Sarah shippers absolutely cannot miss seeing "Chuck vs. the Colonel" again.

No, I probably won't. It would be a lot easier if my friends didn't live 2 hours away. I should have waited until Chuck was off the air before I moved!

Who knows, though? I might get bored this weekend and make the drive.

NBC really ought to promote this, there's barely been a single mention about the new season and changes to Chuck.

ok, so I couldn't keep a straight face....

Just a reminder: The Chuck marathon is tonight on SyFy. The season 2 finale, Chuck vs. The Ring (an absolutely great episode) airs at midnight to finish the marathon. And the season 3 premiere starts this Sunday on NBC.

The wait is over! Chuck is back!

We started watching S2 on DVD last night. I seem to be enjoying S2 more than S1... I recall in S1 I really enjoyed the Office plot but the Alias plot was a little meh, while this year the spy plots are more interesting.

I got my copy the other day, but as of right now, the Best Buy near me is completely sold out of Chuck DVDs AND Blu-Ray.

So that's kind of awesome.

My set didn't come with 3D glasses, and I can't find the 3D version of the 3D episode anywhere either. But fortunately I don't care about 3D technology, and was more worried about not having a regular version of the episode. I've been enjoying my re-viewing of season 2 immensely, and I'm really excited about the new season. One largely insignificant spoiler I came across on the internet dampened my enthusiasm a little if it's true, but overall I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I think that season 2 is where the show became really brilliant and fun.

Chuck vs. the Delorean was a lot of fun because of how geek fantasy and geek reality ran into each other.
