Ugh! I wonder which drunken NBC executive approved 'Tarzan' as a network series. It barely lasted 2 seasons before it was euthanized. This was the lead-in show that NBC hoped would bring massive numbers of viewers to the following show, TOS. Like John Belushi said when he parodied Kirk, "We found evidence of intelligent life everywhere, except one television network."
Agreed. Ron Ely was a better Tarzan than any of the "Me Tarzan" guys, especially if you go by the books, where he's an educated English lord.
