Which aspect of this research did you find particularly interesting?

They thought we might be able to produce tissue for healing damaged skin and, possibly, be able to grow it as we wish. At least, that is how I interpret this article.

Being able to understand how nanofibers can be formed from it could also be used for various biotechnology applications. (Not to mention great elastic products and adhesives!)

To me, it is fascinating how we can learn from the "lower" forms of life and potentially make great scientific advances.
