Nana as Awesome as Ever

Good. Back on DS9, when she finally wore a starfleet uniform, I thought she looked awesome.

The second part of her interview is up now.

I have to say her question at the end for the fans did surprise me. Not the question in itself, it has floated around here for the last 10 years, but the fact that Visitor herself would ask it. Given how long it has been since she was Kira I just didn't expect her to really think in that way about the character anymore.

If you can find a copy of Broadway's Lost Treasures-the Musicals, watch it. Its an uneven collection, apparently taken from the Tony Awards broadcasts; but about 50 minutes in, there's an extended dance number from My One And Only with Ms Visitor dancing her distinctly glorious legs off. A somewhat sombre reminder that (for all the wonderful things she has been able to do in this business) Nana has never been given the chance to film a proper musical

Saw that last year just for the Nana bit. Was confused by her credit as 'Prawn' and was expecting her to turn up in an embarrassing sea creature costume...

If only they'd done that DS9 musical episode, she'd have been amazing.

According to the IBDB (see http://www.ibdb.com/production.php?id=4221 ) she was Flounder - Jill Cook was Prawn - but all the dancers were called Fish as an ensemble. Why?, is the letter before Z

Does anyone know if Ms Visitor can be heard on the soundtrack album ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000002IGJ...iveASIN=B000002IGJ&adid=0N7198Q42BEX7P3XHH5B& )? In the Swim is supposedly performed by the Fish; but are they singing or just dancing?

Robert

I'm looking forward to when she comes to Sydney next month for Armageddon Expo.

Ms V has been tried to get to Australia a few times; but work has always collided with the booking. One can always hope (especially as i've never actually been to one of these big shows)

Bournemouth's four hours away from me (by train anyway, and a more direct route could probably shave an hour off it), and this is the first time I'm going to a convention solely for one guest. Which I know is a risky thing, but totally worth it for her...
