U.S.S. Charles F. Adams, Scout/Destroyer class. Named for Civil War Charge' D Affaires to England who broke up the sale of ironclads to the CSA. Thus, helped in saving the Union.

-- USS Starhawk - Centaur class/type. No real reason just a name in my head.

-- USS Kithomer [sic] - Ambassador Class. Named for the planet that laid the ground work for the Federation Klingon alliance.

-- S.S. Taylor - Nova Class Science Ship in civilian hands. Name for Dr. Gillian Taylor from STIV.

I do have a ship -- well, a shuttlecraft that I chose to name the Zhang Heng http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhang_Heng in keeping with the tradition of naming shuttlecraft after astronomers, explorers, scientists, and the occasional TV producer.

My STARFLEET chapter is the USS Abraham Lincoln. My daughter refers to it as the Abrahamo Lincolni (from B5).
