I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I want to see the story of the Bacco Administration depicted in Star Trek: The West Palais. I wanna see a Federation flag superimposed upon black-and-white photographs of Jas Abrik, Fred MacDougan, Sivak, Bey Toh, Kant Jorel, Ashante Phiri, Safranski, Raisa Shostakova, Xeldara Trask, Z4 Blue, Esperanza Piniero, and Nan Bacco. And I want the theme song to be arranged by W.G. "Snuffy" Walden.

I'm thinking, in keeping with the current Broadway trend, its time for (drumroll):

STAR TREK : THE MUSICAL !

It could feature the Kirk Soliloquy and the Mr. Spock Softshoe among other numbers...

IIRC, there actually were plans to put together a Star Trek opera in the 1990's, with Jerry Goldsmith composing the music...

Much like the proposed IMAX movie, I imagine this just fell by the wayside at some point.

At least Bacco gets some play in A Singular Destiny. I've been staying away from the thread about it though, still waiting to get my hands on it.
