Name That Trek

All right, I think I've chosen an easier quote than the last one I used. Edited to not give it away...

First officer to first officer,
____, if your Captain ____ knew
of that, why this peaceful meeting....?

A serendipitous bit of good fortune, as I would never have gotten this otherwise, but I just saw it in the gag reels thread. It's Worf, as shown as being denied again, in Where Silence Has Lease.

Ok, this is a comment and reply. My inclination was to just offer the comment, but in all honesty, I thought that by itself, it might turn out to be too generic, hence the addition, which likely will make it pretty easy. Ah, such is life.

"That's not what I meant"

"I know what you meant"

A valiant effort and on the right track, in a sense. Sorry to leave you with such a damnably lame clue, but as your attempt came pretty quickly and I still think that it won't take too long to solve, I won't offer anything else at this time, lest I truly give the game away.

A wild time no doubt, and loads of fun to have attended, but sorrily, doesn't add anything to this endeavor. Possibly premature(these don't have to be solved that quickly) but I'm considering a freely given clue in the near future barring someone really heating things up!!!!

Is it Riker and Mrs. Apgar in A Matter of Perspective? (Or holographic analogs of same)?

Or possibly Dr. Apgar?

Uh, no. Honestly, I'm dubious to my ever having seen the episode, less being able to quote dialogue from it. It does look interesting from my brief perusal of it at MA, though. However, as it happens, part of your guess actually is quite pertinent to the answer. Now, I'm not going to inject any other information just yet, but I will go so far as to say, if you add that very helpful part you've offered, to your initial attempt, and think it through, you will have the exact template, shall we say, of the protagonists in the piece of the little drama that I've cited.

Ugh. You've put me in a rather awkward position. Those lines are spoken in the scene you reference. I'm pretty sure this situation has come up a time or two before, but probably only when the quote was a very common one. I can rightfully say this to deny your guess. The rejoinder doesn't end as I indicated it does with quotation marks, as there are a few more words that Archer utters to complete his response. Now, as recompense, if you think it's reasonable and by virtue of the fact that I fully intend to continue participating in this delightful diversion through the foreseeable future, I will cede the fruits of my next winning entry to you. Your puzzler would probably be rather more imaginative than mine anyway, even though, surprisingly to me anyway, this current one does seem to have legs.

Are you amenable to that offer?
