I had the "character" game going and didn't think i'd guess the "object" too and just had to pick some object and this "rock" hadn't been used yet!

Kirk's "ribbons" are not perfectly symmetric in arrangement (the top yellow one is offset for example), and ribbons on other's uniforms are not, either. Nice guess, but not correct.

The colors of the sides were red, yellow/amber, blue/cyan, white, yellow/amber and blue/cyan. (Yes, the beauty of color TV. )
Clue 2: Geometrically symmetric for what it is.
SCOTT: That's a solid cube.

SULU: Each of its edges measures one hundred seven meters.
Clue 4: Don't know how, but it gets around for what it is.
SCOTT: Motive power? Beats me what makes it go.
Clue 5: Any communication skills are "lacking" for what it is.
UHURA: Hailing frequencies still open, sir. I get no message from it.

What is it?
SPOCK: I believe it adds up to either one of two possibilities. First, a space buoy of some kind.
KIRK: Second?
SPOCK: Flypaper.

Nice game, I had that color cube as an answer!! but when MFlint said "Balok's vessel?" without pictures I though that covered it, illogical, anyway, I don't have a decent object to play right now. Waiting for MethFlint game!!
