Name That STAR TREK Episode...

I have a feeling it is "Operation Annihilate" for some strange reason.

1. Spock is controlled by the flying omelets

2. Not sure on this clue, but they seem like a disease to me, and are cured by radiation.

I can think of two episodes needing a broom and they both kind of work. So, let's try "Omega Glory". The broom can sweep up dried up body minerals. There's a disease, and Spock is immune, yet again. Spock is stuck on the planet unless they get an understanding of the cause of deaths.

Got it
1. Spock mentally influenced the Yang woman to open the communicator, without touching her, something he does 3 times in there series (including the previous episode "by any other name"). So he "remoted in".
2. Hodgekins law of Parallel planetary development, is put to the test with exact duplicates of USA documents
3. Sweep up the Exeter crew

OK, I somehow undeservedly sneaked in with that answer. I had totally forgotten about Hodgekin's Law of parallel planet development, but I subconsciously applied Roddenberry's Law of parallel plot development.

Clue #1 In this episode, there is something new. We've never seen that before, but it serves a useful function for the viewer. Why did they not also add something more utilitarian? For example, what about that something which shows up (apparently) new in later episodes? ... Well, it takes a lot longer to make one of those, and what would have happened to the urgency that was so needed in a good plot?

The Enemy Within, not sure about the new thing in the episode (first transporter accident?) , but it takes a while to build a Shuttlecraft.

You got it in one. Congrats UssGlenn.

The new thing was Kirk's stylish new shirt. It helped the viewer identify good Kirk versus Evil Kirk.

clue 1: “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” — Ernest Hemingway
what happens when this axiom goes wrong

The obvious is: "The Squire Of Gothos." who both has the name of an aristocrat and is evidently superior in some ways at least.

I'm thinking "The Ultimate Computer". Daystrom is a shadow of his former self and can't top what he did in his youth. He pushes the limits of reliable methods and creates a murdering mechanical monster.

Like Henoch, I was also thinking of GM in WNMHGB. I had to choose one, and was not sure.

Clue #1 Another planet ruled by a triumvirate? ... Well, not really ... for two reasons.

"The Return of the Archons" requires you to return to the archives to search for another answer.

Clue #2 Whether or not there are three or less rulers on this planet now, it is clear that there was at least one past ruler whose cruelty was chilling.
