Name That STAR TREK Episode...

Errand of Mercy?
1. SPOCK: Captain, our information on these people and their culture was not correct. This is not a primitive society making progress toward mechanisation. They are totally stagnant. There is no evidence of any progress as far back as my tricorder can register.

This Side of Paradise, as Sandoval laments after the spores wear off.

Ding, ding, ding! "THIS SIDE OF PARADISE" is correct.

Phaser Two got it for the stated reason. In fact, when I was writing my reason ahead of time to copy and paste, what you wrote is almost exactly word for word. Are you some kind of telepath? Hacker? Clone? :)

Your turn, Phaser Two.

Arena

The Metrons are holding them and there is no progress on being able to move again.

Edit: I just missed it, with the wrong answer! D'oh!

Watch out for that @Phaser Two, he's a sorcerer that one, he will read the thoughts from your mind!

Thanks! None of the three as far as I know. :) I am kinda good with dialogue, though. Or I thought I was - it's been a long minute since I won the game. Easter surprise. :techman: And now . . . .

Tomorrow is Yesterday?
1. "here for a change" could imply the first story about a key location in relation to the Federation, such as Earth, RNZ, Klingon boarder, Vulcan, the Galactic Barrier, etc. Most episodes are usually on the Enterprise or on a random world, so, I rule those out. Since the Federation is stationed on Earth it is logically the most important location, but we find only two episodes that involved Earth, namely TIY and Assignment: Earth. A:E is the second episode and as Star Trek goes, it does not really have action nor plot since it was a backdoor pilot for Gary Seven. TIY has both action and plot, hence my first pick. Odd that TOS Earth is never visited during the series...

Balance of Terror?
1. First Romulan episode; lots of action and plot. First episode were the Enterprise is solely conducting a military mission. I need more clues...
