Name That STAR TREK Episode...

Requiem for Methuselah. James Daly was on The Fugitive, and Rayna dies from the choice at the end. I'm thinking one of the Rayna androids was costumed in something we'd seen before.

Turnabout Intruder? Lester can't handle the pressure of being Kirk... Which is a misogynistic remark if there ever were any... but is a fair description of the episode.

There's a doctor that's her confederate which could work with clue number one.

Posters are running out of steam, so, summary with new clue:
1st Clue: "Calling Dr. Kimble."
2nd Clue: The attire is no stranger.
3rd Clue: She can't handle the pressure.

4th Clue: Son rebels against father, again.

sub-clue: I could mean it is a common theme in classic literature, in general...or not.
5th Clue: I grieve over this episode.

Reasoning:
Clue 2: They've seen the gown that Adonais wore
Clue 3: Carolyn Palamas
Clue 4: Ancient Gods rejected before.
Clue 5: Kirk's regret at the end.

Amok Time

1st Clue: "Calling Dr. Kimble."
--A reference to "Old Christine" perhaps (I admit that I Googled the clue and got a hit for this  )?

2nd Clue: The attire is no stranger.
--Vulcans dress suspiciously like Romulans, especially the helmets. Then there is Stonn and Decius.

3rd Clue: She can't handle the pressure.
--"I came to know that I did not want to be the consort of a legend."

4th Clue: Son rebels against father, again.
sub-clue: I could mean it is a common theme in classic literature, in general...or not.
--Spock and Serak still estranged at this point, so Dad is a no-show at the wedding.

5th Clue: I grieve over this episode.
--And T'Pau grieves with thee as well.

Correct answer: Who Mourns for Adonis. @T'Bonz wins.

1. Dr. Kimble was searching for an one-armed man; only one hand (arm) grabs the Enterprise...(weak but the first clues are supposed to be vague).
2. Shatner starred as Alexander the Great in his previous TV series wearing greek skirts. Also later in Plato's Stepchildren, Shatner dons the skirt, again.
3. She in this case is the Enterprise. The big green hand starts to crush her as a demonstration of Apollo's power, and as a result, Kirk gives in to Apollo's demands.
4. Apollo called himself their father and the crew his children. Kirk kicks him to side of the road.
5. Grieve = Mourn.

Well those were excellent clues. I wish I had not been derailed by trying to figure out who was on The Fugitive, which after all was a contemporary of Star Trek. And I can't very well begrudge a win for our benevolent host.:)

Yay! I got it!

Ha ha, SOLID. I didn't even get some of the clues right, but the last clue "grieve" said "mourn" to me and some of the other clues I had the right idea, if not the exact one. I was thinking ancient Rome and togas and gowns.

I have to do a SKYPE call with the kiddies. So when I finish that, I'll be back. I'm good with vague clues (ask my poor husband who only once in forty years has figured one out) and this will be fun.

OK guys, I'm back. We'll see if I'm any good at this.

Here is clue #1: The car is out of gas.

Not going to say Arena, D'oh!

Erm... excuse me.

I really am guessing Mudd's Women. Because all of the Lithium crystals are busted.

Even burnt and cracked it's still pretty.
