Name That STAR TREK Episode...

Dagger of the Mind?
1. Kirk says "Thank you." to the therapist running the neural neutralizer. He looks void and seems not to hear Kirk.
2. Penal colony on an island (planet) where the inmates run the show.

Oooh, those are both great guesses! But no. Back into the neutralizer, and the android body will have to wait a little longer.

After the agonizer and the neutralizer, I don't know if my aging brain cells can take anymore abuse. Maybe I need the android body; Dr. Coby, warm up the turn-table. I must be a glutton for punishment, so, my new guess is:
Patterns of Force?
1. Spock stands mute while Skippy analyzes his cranium:
MELAKON: Very difficult. Note the sinister eyes and the malformed ears. Definitely an inferior race. Note the low forehead, denoting stupidity. The dull look of a trapped animal. You may take him now for interrogation, but I want the body saved for the Cultural Museum. He'll make an interesting display.
2. Kirk and Spock escape from prison using the subcutaneous transponders and a 40-watt bulb to build a laser. Very clever.

Yup! No explanation, so no explanation! You're up!

My explanation is that I searched for an episode where there was some farming but it's customary for the person who started the game, IE you, to give his explanations, regardless of whether the guesser gave his.

Anyway:

(Episode randomly selected)

Clue 1:

Some puns stretch believability.

It's like this. I enjoy and prefer more than just playing "pick a card" with a 79-card deck. Maybe others feel differently. But if the guesser can't type out clues - and of course that's not always possible given time constraints - I don't really feel like typing out the solution. I mean, if I derive no fun from the guesses, why should anyone derive any fun from the solution? Just my two cents. I think the game is a LOT more fun when people talk about why they think the way they do. I have learned a TON about people's perspectives on the episodes, and thus the episodes themselves, in this thread that way. :)

How do we know that your clues are not pure bullshit? I could write a series of nonsensical clues, make people sweat for a few pages and select a winner randomly without explanation. That would look exactly like what you just did. If you don't explain your clues then how do we know that they are legitimate? It would not be the first time that some of your clues turned out to be galactic stretches!!

As far as I am concerned I won't acknowledge your responses anymore nor give an answer when it's your game. I am tired of your prima donna's antics.

If you don't want to respect the basic rules of the game then go play somewhere else!

 Whatever, dude.

You've been awarded the Starfleet Order of Gallantry.
:)

This is a game thread. Those of you who don't want to play that game should have the decency to stop polluting it with irrelevancy.

Oh, Herbert! You are Stiff!

Bread and Circuses.

My reasons are my own and I will tell them at a time of My choosing.

By Any Other Name?
Let's expose the aliens (in human form) to bizarre human emotions (i.e. puns) to convince them they are wrong.:wtf:
Kirk seduces the woman - how typical, Kirk gets the girl, again... :luvlove:
Spock leaves a trail of false leads to make the leader jealous - this is really beneath Spock's skills. :vulcan:
McCoy turns one of the aliens into a speed junkie - where's his Hippocratic Oath?
Scott drinks the big guy under the table - taking himself out, as well. :barf: (note: it's green.)
