The cars look the same, but I always thought that in Spy Hunter you always went in a strait line. Of course, I was never good enough to get far enough in it to know otherwise.

Ok, another hint. It's a game produced by Capcom.

All I know about Capcom is they make Mega Man, Street Fighter, and megabadass beat-em-ups.

Capcom during the 80s explored a wide variety of genres.

Outside of MAME, I only ran across this game once at an arcade in a hotel we were staying at. So bearing that it mind this might be a tad difficult.

However here's another hint, if your car was close to blowing up, you could jump out of the car and run on foot until another car was made available to you. However this put you at an extreme disadvantage as one shot would kill you and your gun did barely any damage among any enemies in the game (except for foot soldiers).

It IS an Atari game.. 8-Bit no less.. 400/800 system.
