This. I dislike the games, but they are amazingly well made, strategic RPGs. Pokemon gets a bad reputation due to the anime which definitely is directed towards kids, but the games are not.

But I have no knowledge of that universe, and it all looks the same, so that suspicion didn't help at all. It would literally take me forever to figure it out.
