Good man! You nailed it. I hope you did it through actually knowing the game, because it is by and far the best (and most under the radar) RPG ever made.
Alas, I had to dig through a bunch of RPGs to figure out what it was. I have never played it, but I'll have to give it a try now...

I'm guessing it was a SNES game? Got a safe source for a rom, by any chance? The graphics there look very similar to Seiken Densetsu 3, which I love.
