Vis A Vis? Clue 2: I am thinking of the "carburettor".
Drone maybe? The mobile emitter gets repurposed.
Good guesses, but not correct yet.
Clue 3: Now is not the right time.
Basics Part Two: Tom says that to the attacking ships.
Clue 4: Being outdated could be revealing
Clue 5: A fabricated superpower
Bride Of Chaotica?
Clue 6: A physician of many talents
(now it should become clear)
"TINKER TENOR DOCTOR SPY"?
Good guess, but not correct yet. One more guess? The episode is in season 7...
Since I'm running out of clues and have busy days ahead, I would like to terminate this round. Please, could somebody else take over for the next round? First come, first serve...
The solution is "Renaissance Man"
Clue 1: Once is enough - Janeways facial expression indicates she wouldn't really appreciate more away trips with the Doctor
Clue 2: Not the intended use - The morgue chambers are used to hide crew members who are - of course - still alive
Clue 3: Now is not the right time - Janeway postpones the discussion about socializing with the Doctor
Clue 4: Being outdated could be revealing - Torres' holographic template is updated to show her pregnancy
Clue 5: A fabricated superpower - The story about the highly advanced R'Kaal Empire
Clue 6: A physician of many talents - Doc flying a shuttle, singing, taking holo images and writing a paper. Also a reference to the episode title
I would have guessed that based on clue 6 but unfortunately didn't get online between that clue and the reveal. I've had a lot of the TNG and DS9 ones lately so I'll give it to someone who hasn't had a turn in a while.
@Ensign Seven: I believe your five first clues are too obscure. I would also have found the answer based on the Sixth clue but not the others and I think I know that episode pretty well.
My last riddle was solved very quickly, therefore I did not want to make it too easy this time. Solving a riddle after 6 or even more clues and the fact that the first few are often ambiguous and "applicable" to several if not many episodes is not unusual, at least that's the impression I got when I glanced through this thread.
But OK, next time I will try to make it a bit easier again.
How about a new round?
Here's my first clue:
One would think she would be the one not to stay.
I have a hard time predicting what's obvious and what's not to people. Sometimes I think I'm being obscure and it gets guessed right away, sometimes I think I'm being obvious and it gets to six or seven clues.
I'll go with the obvious one with The Gift?
To paraphrase Garak...
Obscurity, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
One would think you wouldn't need a tricorder to identify that!
