Planets are big. I am sure I don't know, let alone understand, most of the customs of most of the countries in the world, that doesn't make me an extraterrestrial. Remember that there are hundreds of countries (I don't remember the exact number but it's in the hundreds).

Yeah, but if you wandered into a monkey colony and tried to pass as one of them they’d sense something was off.

And even if you can argue that odd behavior would be explained that way, life is chaotic, accidents happen and then with the slightest medical attention given they’d figure something out. Or if somebody has a perfume with a chemical that is harmless to them but poisonous to us. Or an insect bite with a surprise allergic reaction. Or somebody peeping in a public restroom.
