Name That Episode, TNG Edition...

"The Vengeance Factor"

I think they talk of cuisine at some point.

Riker kills her (whatever her name was) because she didn't heed his warning and saves the guy's life!

Correct!

When Riker notices Yuta he asks her about her cooking, since she said she was the Sovereign's chef.

When Yuta joins Riker and Troi in Ten-Forward, Troi graciously leaves so Riker can be alone with Yuta.

Riker clearly warned Yuta that he would kill her if she tried to murder again.

Sorry no.

How about another clue:

That's why people are not supposed to wear unsanctioned accessories!!

Sorry no. Wow!!

This game could use another clue, here it is:

The coolheadedness of one overthrows the combativity of the other.

Conundrum?

Bravo!

Explanations:

1) Why didn't whatshisface put himself as Captain of the ship?
2) Worf mistook his non-Starfleet-issue baldric for a mark of superiority in rank.
3) The alien invented a new position for himself: Executive Officer.
4) Picard's coolheadedness won Worf over and the alien's combativeness did not.
5) The alien volunteered for Beverly's experiment because he was the only one who could make it fail.

Your turn.
