Name That Episode, Limerick Edition

First Duty?

This one’s a bit obvious but I enjoy it:

I once met a man come from France
Who was strung up without any pants
Five lights did he see
‘Fore he was set free
In his tortured dissociative trance

Not The First Duty ... they did get caught. ;)

Chain of Command, Part II.

But Sisko didn't blow up the ship, Garak did and he's not a man of principles by any means.

Hmm... good point. I suppose it could be argued that since Sisko didn't come forward about the whole thing and maintained the lie, he was complicit in blowing up the ship. But I agree, he wasn't the one who actually blew it up.

Plus Sisko did get caught in the lie, remember? "It's a faaaake!!!" one of the most famous lines in the series.

But he didn't caught in the end, due to the ship being blown up. Nonetheless, you're right, it's flawed due to Garak having been the one who did the deed.

I do appreciate the limericks though. I couldn't do one to save my life!

The girl that I always liked best
Wore a suit that accented her chest
Where can they be
She only can see
But they pissed off the 'Mother knows best'

the Gift? I am thinking of Seven for the "suit that accented her chest" but there are many episodes where she appears.

Could the mother who "knows best" be T'Les?

I'm trying to think of a situation where Seven, T'Pol or Troi was the only person who could see something.

There's Troi and the "one moon circles" episode, but no Lwaxana in it.

Edit: Never mind, just saw that @JirinPanthosa confirmed it was Seven. So "mother" is probably Janeway, metaphorically. Hmm. Can't come up with a "they" that only Seven could see, but I also haven't watched Voyager recently, and I'm especially rusty on the last half of the series.

SCIENTIFIC METHOD?

Seven, at first, is the only one who can see them, and when a crewman was killed, Janeway lost it and went on that course. She is the mother of that crew.

This fellow and I look the same,
Right down to our family name.
I once loved a lady,
But do you think it's shady
That he wants to rekindle the flame?
