Name changes. Most know that I've done minor cosmetic changes, dropping numbers, capitalizing, etc. What some don't know is that occasionally I've done name changes.
In the interests of fairness and giving the people what they want (when I can and when I think it won't be bad for the BBS), I have decided to open the offer of name changes for any posters who want one.
Here is what must be done.
1. PM me with your name request. I have to approve it and it can't be what someone has or close enough to cause confusion. Also - you may not use lapsed names that someone else used.
2. You may only change the name ONCE a year. I will be keeping a list. If you don't like your change, tougho lucko for the rest of the year (from the date you change it, not a calendar year.)
3. Those I've done before this get a start date of March 1st because I didn't save my emails.
4. You MUST post your old username in either your sig or location for a month. This is so that we can figure out who you are and get used to it. After the month, you don't have to do that anymore.
5. Mods may also change their names.
