My version of Kronos 1 study model

Very nice, XFozz! I love that 3/4 forward view ... the ship has quite a bit of majesty and feels appropriate for a Klingon Chancellor. While I liked the ornate K'T'inga in Undiscovered Country, largely because of the bridge dialog about being so close [to a formerly adversary vessel], this ship would have been a beauty to see in action.

I'd love to see it in a fight -- in my head I see that engineering section getting battered, forcing the prow to blast away -- heavy rockets at the base of each pylon thrusting the command decks out of the blast radius just in time before the engine-core goes. Then, their fuel exhausted, the pylons themselves tumble away like space shuttle SRBs; spent after having accelerated the surviving crew to safety. After that, the command section thrusts away on secondary systems for parts and adventures unknown before they're rescued.

This happened a few days ago. Don’t know exactly how or when. I was away from the computer for awhile. Still not sure I want to reinstall. Kind of getting tired of this. I’ll give it some time and think about it.

Do you have a backup of your model?

The model isn't the problem.
Oh good; I was was worried that error message came up when you tried to load the model file.
I'd strongly consider reinstalling 3dsMax if you're getting tons of error messages. Or if that's too much hassle (which I would certainly sympathise with - running Max was getting too much for me on my home PC) then may I suggest learning Blender? It's not too hard to transfer over, and there seems to be a good online community for it, should you run into technical snags like this.

Either way, I hope you get around this frustrating issue, as I really like the work you do here. :)
