Well, Hubby and I are sitting at JFK, waiting for our plane, having gotten here hours early due to my paranoia about security lines. Check-in had no wait; security had NO wait. We literally walked right up.
Five days in DC, and we saw more than we had hoped but still nowhere near everything. But we did meet denizens of the Board, which was very fun to put faces with names. Hubby, not a BBS'er, was really impressed with the fine quality of those he met.
NYC was huge but small at the same time. We waked a lot, and took the subway a bit. Not too hard to manage, but sometimes we were just trying to stay out of the crowd's way.
Very glad we finally had this vacation, though I think my feet will never forgive me. If I had to live I one of these cities, I would opt for DC. Just overall the more beautiful.
Oh, 2d Avenue Deli was better than Katz's, hands down.
