My thoughts on 'Booby Trap'

One of the better Season 3 episodes in my opinion.

The score is excellent. According to Memory Alpha, Ron Jones was fired because he disagreed with Berman-era Trek. It's a shame that petty bickering turned Star Trek's music into generic bullshit.

But back to the episode, I never bought the Leah storyline and it does cast Geordi in a creepy light. But the last ten minutes, with Picard saving the ship by piloting, is great.

Galaxy's Child, when Picard asks Geordi if he knows Dr. Brahms,
"Err, I've checked out her... schematics".

I don't hate the episode, though I can't say it's my favorite either.... it's good on it's own, can't say I ever paid any particular attention to the music.... Geordi was a bit over the top with his looming around the hologram and pretty damn naive to think that was what she was really like..... and that he never bothered to check her relationship status later on or even then??? Come on LaForge... you can make a Galaxy class starship move and prevent it from blowing up, yet you can't check simple basic information like if someone is single or not?

Harry Kim's better with women then LaForge.... jeez.

And I never got why there's so much hate-on for the smaller model of the Enterprise. I liked the newer model because it had more detail to it while the other one just seemed kinda fuzzy and bland. (even though it was larger)
