hey baby

Sad thing is, and this is true, the only reason she wants me to have kids is so that I can see how hard it is and why having kids ruined her life.
By your comment, I imagine you're not yet 26 years old. I doubt most people of that age who still live (or rent a room) at home wouldn't mind if their mother had access to their room...You sound like such a cool mother, Miss Chicken!![]()
Funny you should say that.My mum has also thrown something similar at me in the past, her words were more in the vein of: "don't expect to drop your kids off at mine when you have them, because I would love to say I'm too busy, like you say to me."
I guess she had her hands full with two young children later in life. I helped as much as could, but I could never be a second mother, those kids had a father too, as well as a live in aunt, we all chipped in. I took it as a moment of irritation on her part, rather than a heartfelt sentiment.
I guess I'm having the last laugh now, as she'll never have the satisfaction of saying that since I have no intention of having children.I am not suited to being a full-time mother. Children are best at irregular and small doses, at least until they're old enough to dust.

Oh, you meant it like that! I misinterpreted, my apologies.Actually I'm nearly 30 and live in a different country to my parents.
I meant that having a parent that you could be so open with about things like sex and stuff must be pretty cool.
