It was never clear how they got into the Reliant's torpedo bay, so this kind of design suits that era pretty well.![]()

I loved it in DS9 when the actual model kit kit-bashed ships first appeared as background ships. This image is my homage to that time when off-the-shelf FX solutions included taking common plastic kits and making something familiar yet unique with them.

Wondering how you'd get into the torpedo bays for the port and starboard launchers. Artificial gravity having its usages once again, by the looks of it.
Obviously the pylons aren't as wide as the neck, maybe they load them in the secondary hull, then they move to the launchers on a belt. Kinda like we saw in Enterprise.
Anyway...finally got my copy of the calendar. Looks great in my hands, as it did on-screen. I still foresee a novel springing from this image.
