My Review of : Starship Farrgut:The Captaincy

Ok, this is the first episode of the Star Trek: Starship Farragut series. I just watched the first season, and I must say this is quite the little gem. I imagine the next season should be a gangbuster. They have made every mistake known to cinema, and still came out of it with a great first season. It has a very strong story, strong c haracters, and a bond between the principles the likes of which we have not seen since the early days of Kirk and Spock. Like I said the first year (season) is usually the shake down where you you find out what's what, and the main character get use to being in front of the camera, and reading their lines. But it is evident this will be a great show, worthy of the Star Trek monikor. Great job by John Broughton , Mike Bednar, and. Mike's wife Holly Bednar and a great first work by all involved. We look forward to your next season

yes, I didn't realize (I don't know why) that the first ep was done I thought the trailer was finished. you can imagine my surprise when slumming around on You-tube I saw the ep1-part 1-5. I began watching and didn't stop until I had went through the whole episode. all and all a really great episode, good writing, ok delivery, and the effects and the cgi were'nt too shabby. And what a great idea to use the sets from one of the other fanfilms rather than spend the money building their own. That money went back into the production budget and was well used I bet. again great job, the next one should be top notch....
