My play opens Off-Broadway next week!

I love that play.
When I read it, I kept thinking: I wished I wrote this play.

My prof this term (Sky Gilbert!!) has a thing with Albee. Albee is good, but he just can't deal with being gay.
Strangely, the play was first conceived as about a doctor who infects himself with HIV... how that turned into having sex with a goat, I do not know.

Previews are done, and tonight is the official opening. Yipes!

The previews went great, though we were crunched on time to fix some technical issues...sound, lights, rain...yes...it rains on stage...But, all fixed, all working, all looking good.

Reviewers came this weekend, but they apparently won't be posted until after opening night. Gr. I wanted to use some in a big email blast...but, sadly...I just had to blast it out with no quotes...

That just means I get to do another blast this week!

I think it went well. Some of the technical issues we had we got resolved before Tuesday. The audience really responded.

Well. Except for the guy sitting next to me. He didn't like it. I feel like this might be a play people either really like or are just not interested.
