my new car's license plate

That's a great plate, Pensive.
It is, also, really awesome that the screws that hold the plate on are tiny skulls. I've never seen those before.

I have a whole skull motif in my lil' Honda. The tire caps are the same silver skulls, and I have a matching steering wheel cover and floor mats. I'm a rocker :D

..yeah, baby :D
I likes, I likes!!!

Now, if you're going to do personalized plates, this is the way to do it. Only a very very select few will have any idea of what it means, but for those few who do Grok; it will be epic. :D

Pensive, you realize now that there'll be entire fleets of Chevy Xindis searching for you throughout that region of space known as Alabama, right?

Actually, my old plate looked like that, with the American flag. But all the ones I saw in the DOT office were the old design, like I have now. Maybe the flags are optional, or they didn't catch on?? *shrug*

I didn't even notice the skulls when I first looked at the picture, but they're really cool.

Licence plates over here are so boring!

How did you get a new license plate that isn't the new design? Shouldn't it look like this:

Er? At least according to the Alabama Dept of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division website, the "Stars Fell On" plate is the standard one: http://www.ador.state.al.us/motorvehicle/standard.html
And the American flag one is a specialty tag that you can't personalize (scroll to bottom):

Unless something changed recently I'm unaware of? Anyway, I've got the Saturn V one! And around Huntsville, you see plenty of sci-fi themed plates.

Maybe some guy/gal near Huntsvegas is the one that took QAPLA. Of all the random-ass tags, that one was taken when I applied. I have GOT to find this person and buy them a drink hahaha

HuntsVEGAS? I've never heard that before, just "Rocket City". Is that something you just use, or have you heard it elsewhere? And I'm having a little trouble figuring out how it fits?
