My miniature Star Trek TOS

This is what I am making now, Star Trek action figures in 1/6 scale (12 inches tall). The uniforms are made according to the official pattern. I tried to make everything as screen accurate as possible. The only thing that I changed is the way to attached Phaser and Communicator, I used magnets instead of Velcro. The "Phaser Banks" of the Phaser Rifle can rotates. The Standard Phaser will be a combination of Phaser 1 and 2. Again, they are attached together by magnets. They are not finish yet but soon. Spock is under a "Face Lift" procedure and he should be recovered by next week. I used the 1:1 blueprint to build the Captain's Chair (factor every measurements by 6).

I am making the TWOK series too but still in the "trying" period because the newer Starfleet uniforms are very complicated not to mention I have to factor the dimension by 6.

Very cool. What figures are you using for the bodies? I've got to say that the likenesses are some of the best I've seen on action figure pieces.

I am using some generic 12" nude bodies. Once completed, I will switch them with HT narrow shoulders nude bodies. The TWOK sculpts will be a lot better.

Made a few more Prototypes. The Captain's Chair is still a bit small, and a lot of the uniform details need to be "fine tuned" to match the 1:1 scale. The gentleman at Starfleet Uniform Club is helping me on this part.

Interesting design that you got there. You design them yourself? I am more interested in "Screen/Set Accurate" uniforms and figures. In as much as making custom figures, after all ST6, I might do First Contact.

This was my favorite scene from "Patterns of Force", McCoy having trouble getting his boots on. Seeing it in action figure form makes it all the more cooler.
