My Mini City

I swear I don't see my city grow. I've seen cities from here with less population and more multi-storey buildings than I have.

I wouldn't worry about it Duke. It took me forever to get my first multi-story building. Some cities spread out and others just grow straight up.

Trying to do rounds, but getting a lot of error messages like "Error : mysql@request" and "Error : Invalid request" and when I do get through it doesn't always let me leave a message. Oh well, I did get through to most people.

I think the site just crashed. I made it through all but two people when it did.

Just finished all my rounds. I left comments on everyone's city, but some of my comments disappeared. *grumble*

Doh! The site seems to be down--again.

*grumble grumble*

eta: It's back up now. Looks like Hillvsville and City of Trippy both could use some maintenance.

I made my rounds today, but didn't leave any comments. Too much going on in the Dreaded Real Life for that to happen.

I made a few assorted hits. As I say, I'm perverse in who I hit upon apart from the regulars.
And the urban sprawl continues in my city. I now have a subdivision.
Haven't these people heard of population density in the downtown area?
:lol:

Last night I finally made the full rounds. Seems I'm getting some new visitors to my city. That's kind of neat.

And I'm not convinced my script works right when it comes to transport. :(

That's odd. Every time I try I get this error message:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I'm using Firefox.

Oh, wait. Nevermind. It's supposed to do that, right?

So to get the most efficient city you should aim to have all of the "<bases com="0" env="0" ind="0" sec="0" tra="0"/>" numbers the same, or something?

Not the same, just zero, for the spelled out ones. Except for transport - that should be 100.
<city>

<name>New Gertchton</name>
<region code="US">united states</region>
<ranking>1427</ranking>
<population>448</population>
<incomes>99950</incomes>
<unemployment>1</unemployment>
<transport>99</transport>
<criminality>1</criminality>
<pollution>0</pollution>
<nextnuke>1</nextnuke>
<signatures>0</signatures>
<bases com="0" env="0" ind="131" sec="36" tra="69"/>
</city>
Notice that in my xml above I need industry (unemployment=1) and transport (transport = 99) and security (criminality=1 the lousy blastards).

Seeing that in the xml someone might use /ind, /tra or /sec to help my city.
