My MacBook won't turn on

Long story short: I got really drunk last night for he first time in a long time. I actually blacked out.

When I woke up this morning, my MacBook was unplugged and turned off. It's been charging all day, but it won't turn on! The little light on the charger is green, so I know the battery is full, but the damn thing isn't doing anything!

I don't know if I dropped it or if I spilled something on it or what, but it's really bothering me.

Right now I'm using my crappy old computer. It takes 20 minutes just to boot up.

Uhm.
Push the power button.
Gee, thanks for the advice.

If it's any consolation, my brother's used Macs for several years and the only major issues he's had is having to replace the logic board on more than one. AFAIK, it wasn't due to any accidents on his end.
Um...that's a rather big problem.

:guffaw: You didn't say that you had pushed it! You just said it wouldn't turn on!

I broke my laptop yet again and I'm getting sick of sending it in. Okay, I'm just being lazy. It's sitting in its pretty little box in my room, ready to be shipped. I don't know how I manage to destroy computers so easily. :(

shouldn't be so rough with them:).
swearing at them while pounding your fist on the keyboard when they do something unexpected probably doesn't help trust me I tried that myself.:(

Do you think Best Buy can do anything about it? I did buy it there.

Sure, they'll charge you $69 to look at it and tell you they want you to spend another $700 on a new one because it would be cheaper than the $800 they'll claim it will cost to fix the old one. :)

Yup. Any problem that happens to a Mac is "minor", the same problem on a PC usually means it's "a piece of shit".

Outside of water, anything that you could spill would leave a residue on the machine. I can't imagine you spilling a beer or any other drink all over your laptop and not knowing you did so the next day, it would be sticky. My vote goes to someone's drunken ass knocking it around too much.

I'm going to be cranky if they don't call me back today. I've been Mac-less for nearly three weeks!
