My life = hilarious

Even if I were not already in a relationship, I for one do not see the point of dating someone for a month when I know with absolute certainty that I will be leaving at the end of that month and not coming back for the foreseeable future. Get attached to someone and then force yourself to give them up? Yeah, that sounds like fun. Sign me up for that.

Anyway the whole thing is still largely ridiculous. I do feel like something of a hypocrite for becoming involved again with one of these two and giving the other the cold shoulder, since they both basically did the same thing. But I think that regardless I'm ending up with the right person and in the right place.

Joking and redundant grammar aside, all the suggestions that he date both are hilarious. Surprised y'all haven't advised him to date ME on the side.

They know you're out of my league.

Someone once told me to never, ever move because of a guy. And was that ever great advice. O.O

I would probably phrase it more broadly: never move because of anyone you aren't married to.

I had a close friend for many years; we considered ourselves sisters, her kids are my godchildren, etc. After living in several states, she told me that they loved where they were and were going to spend the rest of their lives there, and why didn't I move there to be with them.

So glad I didn't. A couple years later, they moved to yet another state, and she stopped talking to me (no idea why).

Well, that's what I would say, but then I figured things might go downhill from there... ;)

Joking aside, I was seeing a guy for years, would have married him in a second... and then he moved, and I would have moved too... only he completely cut me off once he left! :/

Also, never give someone you're not married to money... ;)
(Or if you are married, and they're dodgy with it, now that I think of it).

Bizarre. I wouldn't give either one the time of day.

I have to say, the dude's life is his own and I'm sure the girls in question have lots of wonderful things to their credit so wouldn't dream of interfering... but based on the limited information provided, I couldn't help thinking the exact same thing... *shrug*

Personally, I'm with RAMA, sort of, considering Goji's previous experiences with both girls. However, if Goji is not looking for a romantic relationship right now, there's certainly no harm hooking up with one or both, even if for a short time.

I keep alternating between cracking up and scowling. I honestly don't know what I'd do. Knowing me, I'd probably do a head-over-heels for both girls, and somehow end up pissing off both of them.

Goji is evidently a very noble guy with high sensibilities and wouldn't think of such things as revenge, hurting or using people, and holding a grudge. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be feeling somewhat iffy at the moment. And that's a compliment, by the way. :)

I feel iffy? Eh. Mostly just bemused.

But it is true that the actions you describe are out of character for me. Not sure if that makes me "noble". I would say not, it's not really what I aspire towards. But, meh, whatever. :p

As for why I gave either one of them a second chance, it is in my nature to trust people if they gave me a reason to. The girl in California has done so and I believe that she will not make the same mistake again. I am happier with her in my life than I would be without. I'd rather have that relationship now than a grudge against her for something she did five years ago when she was only eighteen.

The world would be a much better place if that philosophy were more widespread.

No Jerry Springer, for example, or those horrid Judge Whoever shows....
