My grandmother has continues to threaten me!!

Am I the only person who thinks that OP has other disabilites besides hearing and needs help rather than insults?

(Unless of course he's just a troll having a larf pretending to be a disabled person, etc)

Maybe we need more thinking before posting, either way?

i thought your goal was to be a writer like Lucas or Abrams (though honestly, you should pick better writers for role models)... but later posts state your goal is to become the POTUS... at the very least, i'd look at Sorkin for writing (since he wrote much of the West Wing, you can get good writing and some politics)...

if your goal is to become the POTUS, i'd suggest tryinig to get some sort of job with a local candidate... get involved in the local government, and work through those channels...

as for your grandmother... i'd say your first step should be getting it so that you can support yourself financially and physically while still living at home. it's a big step and one that won't happen overnight. but once you got that down, you can look to moving out.

I'm not trying to be a jackass or anything, I'm honestly curious about this...does being Deaf really have an effect on someone's typing/writing ability?

I'm confused. Your grandma isn't letting you achieve your goal of being the next George Lucas, with a cat?

I'm still on the journey to becoming executive producer, head writer, actor, director. Why can't I have all of that? You know, I love to write most of my project and I have already discussed with my dear friend about having my project hand it over to a certain studio who will take care of it. I decided that it will be Paramount, because I believe they can do very good job handling from my project.

Then later on, I'll be ready to enters politic world to running for governor and for president as well. You could says that I'm following in footsteps of Ronald Regan. Ronald Regan was my favorite president since I grew up. Would be that enough, yes?

I'm trying to telling her that I'm on the journey to be the next big thing in my life to becomes the next Georg Lucas or JJ Abrams. She hasn't yet to see my scripts. From what I've been told, my scripts is very good.

Sign languages have their own very distinct grammar, as compared to English--so depending on what a person is exposed to in their upbringing, it's no different than, say, if you were raised speaking Japanese: English grammar and spelling would be quite a different animal. It all depends on what language a person is brought up using, and how they are educated. Some are raised bilingual, others strictly on spoken/written language, others on mostly signed and written language. It's a very individual thing, as best as I understand.

You could tie her to a chair. She's proably old, so she won't be able to put up much of a fight, and then read your scripts to her. If she likes them she will stop bugging you. If she doesn't you can call the police and say your grandma has gone nuts and you had to tie her up. It's time for her to go to a nursing home. This will allow you to ocntinue your career path without any interference from her.

Do those scripts of yours include hot cousins? That one always seems to work. ;)

Very funny, Laren! :shifty:

I'm very protective of my scripts! My scripts is very close of Transformers/Star Wars/Star trek all combined. It's in 23rd century. You will see once it comes out in many years later.

I'm not going to tell you what it is, but remain to be top secret. ;)

Are you planning a tv show, a movie or a movie franchise - something like that? Have you been writing scripts for already existing tv shows? I think that's how many writers get into the business.

i dont think the two goals are totally conflicting, although it is certainly a very difficult career path. each different path alone is extremely difficult... but it's good to focus only on the first.

my advice, read a lot, write a lot, and don't be overly picky when shopping a script to a studio... i imagine it's probably better to have something made than having nothing. even if a studio turns your work into crap, it doesn't mean you are done... look at Joss Whedon and Buffy...

of course i could be totally wrong, i know very little about tv/film production.

Well...All in three. But my project is not meant to be on tv, because it would be too expensive to capture fans' attention to knowing what's going on in future stories. So it would be put in big screen with each episodes. Without of fearing having my project cancels.

And there will be ten movies planned. After my projects are retires, it will be in vault forever. I don't want anyone to use my franchise to change anything to revamp the stories itself.

Will it just be a metaphorical vault, or are you planning on a physical monument to your masterpiece?
