You're the better part of two decades behind. Counting the Epic version, the Wave Serpent has been reimagined three times since that thing was discontinued. The one in the poster is the Forge World version (scroll to bottom). The telltales include the flange across the bow and the different turret. It, and the newer GW version, share a lot of parts with the Falcon kit to cut costs.

Personally, I preferred the Epic version. Pity they never made it in 40K scale.

^Although I must admit that I don't understand why it was 'not funny' what Data did... I'll never understand why the rest of them didn't laugh their arses off!

Probably because at some point in the future, Doctor Crusher would be operating on them.

Because right before Data pushed her into the water, Dr. Crusher said "Jean-Luc, there's something I've been meaning to tell you..."

Now we'll never know, again.

Jee, maybe she was about to profess her love and all that to Picard.

But that in itself is part of the humour of the scene- how complex and tricky humour is. :) Data must be thinking "why isn't it funny? Worf's was". And we can understand his confusion entirely, because to us it was very funny. So what's the difference? Yet we can also understand Geordi and Deanna's reactions. That's part of what makes that scene appeal to me; the general confusion.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that wanted Data to reply "The hell it wasn't." when told it wasn't funny.
