A few of them decided to protest the funeral of a civil rights activist (she worked against genocide in Africa) who died in the plane crash in Buffalo.
They were drowned out by a human wave of college students and local residents who surrounded them so no one could see their signs. It was awesome.

You know, thinking about it now, using a plane crash to make my point about them was probably not a good idea in this instance, and I hope no one thinks I chose it because of the Buffalo crash. The connection with the Buffalo plane crash honestly never even occurred to me until right now. It was just to address the "God is my co-pilot" phrase and chastise Westboro's use of God as an excuse for hatred.
