My book collection

theblitz

Commander
Red Shirt
I recently received a pack of 70 TOS books. Bought on eBay for US $29.88.
All second hand in amazing condition.

So, I just rearranged all my books and put them all together.
Now have a total of over 180 books (including a few on Kindle).
Excluding the ones I have just received, I have read all but 10 or so.

I have some pics of my newly shelved books - how do I post them in order to show off even more?

You need to host them on an image hosting site and then when you have the url of the picture, you click the button at the top of the reply window that looks like it's a picture of a mountain and a moon with a yellow sky. That'll ask you for the url of your picture, paste it in, click okay and you're good to go.

Try to keep the pictures reasonably small - I usually aim for 800x600 pixels, that's not going to bother anyone's screen.

And congrats on a great haul of books!

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see the pics :techman:

If you want a specific suggestion and don't have hosting of your own, Imgur and TinyPic are reliable choices for hosting images. You'll want the URL of the image itself rather than the page, though; once it's uploaded, right-click on the picture and copy the URL of the image.

Somebody previously asked for a picture of my collection of one copy of every single Trek novel ever published, and I turned them down, but I've changed my mind now. This doesn't have the YA novels, because I never invested in those.

While we're at it, I also have a collection of all of the Trek models. The space between DS9 and all the Enterprises is reserved for the Enterprise from the JJVerse, the kit of which was not made available in North America.

If you'll look closely, my pet tribble Reggie is sitting next to DSSK7, behind the Defiant.

Nice! I'd post a pic of my collection but unfortunately about half of them are in boxes on the older titles because I just don't have enough room. I think I counted around 600 last I checked and maybe another 300 magazine.

Yeah, at my last count there was almost 600. I don't think I counted those that were released as e-book only, though.

By the way, my old Brother word processing machine and printer in the bottom right is covering up the 10 Strange New Worlds anthologies.

Nice collection. A couple of my favorite non ST tomes are "A Gentle Madness" and The Book on The Book Shelf"

I've recorded EVERYTHING I own that's Star Trek-related on a WordPerfect document. From all my novels, ebooks and audiobooks down to my video games, VHS cassettes and autographs.
