MS Office missing HELP

Hey all,
My wife had downloaded a free trial of MS Office 7 and after she had tried it, was not going to purchase it, so she went to Uninstall it. Said it was uninstalling the trial but now office 2003 will not run. It is not in Install new programs anywhere.

Can anyone help?

Uh Oh, sounds like the Trial overwrote Office 2003, and or when you uninstalled Office 07 it also uninstalled Office 03 with it. Do you have any restore disks or extra office disks your computer came with?

I probably have the restore disks, but did not want to wipe the system. I have an external hard drive so everything should be backed up. Was hoping there was another way.

You could install OpenOffice?

I actually did that as an inbetween. My daughter had a report to write, so she used that.

You might be able to do a system restore to a restore point before you installed the trial version. It's worth a try if, assuming such a restore point exists, of course.

It does, I tried that as well. Should have mentioned that in my original point. no love.
