Fire me, huge gap between WOK and INS. But I really don’t like numbeicak ranking.

Just got the Kelvin 3 on iTunes. Like ST and STID even more. About to watch Beyond a second time.

    The Undiscovered Country
was epic in every way, from start, to finish. I still get choked up watching the closing signoffs.

The Voyage Home brought the entire crew back together, was funny, and was very well done! That last scene when they were all in the shuttle flying over the Excelsior to have the Enterprise-A come into view gave me the chills.

The Final Frontier was cheap, and cheesy, but had great sound effects.

Insurrection was a good two-part episode.

First Contact was a missed opportunity IMO. It could have been so much more epic. The Borg Queen? One Cube? The movie was good, but should have been so much more...

Generations was disappointing in every way. The original crew was given a beautiful sendoff in TUC...they should have left it alone. John De Lancie (Q) should have been the featured villain in the first TNG movie installment. This movie was a muddled mess.

The Abramverse movies were all very good, despite the massive plot holes.

As for Nemesis, what was the point? They could have written a better sendoff movie than that. Disgraceful storyline. Data sacrificing himself made a bad movie even worse. Horrible!

Ditto. I'd put the 2009 reboot above all the TNG movies, with the possible exception of FIRST CONTACT.

This is always in flux. As an old TOS fan, I can acknowledge that some of the TOS films are lesser films, but I still will watch them over any of the TNG movies. And to be honest, I probably watch Beyond more than TMP. Beyond easily can float up that list in a given month.

But generally most any TOS movie I will watch before any others, and I will watch any of the new movies over any of the TNG movies.

And I grade NEM above INS because I will take a hot mess over a snooze fest any day.

    - A classic. Two over the top actors chewing up the scenes and doing it well.
FC - Could be my #1. Terrific movie - TNG's finest addition to the genre by far.
TUC - Still tear up during the end of movie credits.
TVH - Still a fun watch. Holds up very well with time.
Star Trek - Probably could interchange this installment with 3 and 4. Our heroes reintroduced and it was done wonderfully.
STB - You can see the effort to make this movie more trek. Kirk comes full circle. Great 50th anniversary movie.
TSfS - A crew that is dedicated to their shipmate & friend to the extreme... even stealing the Enterprise!
TMP - The best ship reveal in history... slow, but probably the most "trek" trek movie.
GEN - Picard and Kirk play well off each other albeit in a cockamamie story.
INS - TNG's made for TV movie. It gets too much criticism I think.
NEM - What a movie this could have been. The right story, not the right director. The best space battle scene in all of trek.
STID - Could have been at the top of this list (probably #1) had they not plagiarized TWoK, rehashed old stuff and made Spock into a star fleet/superhero thing. The ending killed the movie for me.
TFF - "What does God need with a Starship"? ... Uhura dancing... need I say more?
