Before I answer, let me state for the record that in my imaginary 100-actor BATTLE ROYALE scenario, Paul Winfield's weapon was a vial of suicide pills. He never had the chance to use them since he was mortally wounded early on by Ian Holm's 1979 rolled-up PLAYBOY issue then mercy-killed by Roddy McDowall's RAID spray-can at his request. None of the three outlasted the final 50, but Alan Arkin miraculously won after eliminating Donald Sutherland. Turning back to Winfield....
