Most Thrilling Episode of TOS?

I'm sorry I haven't seen TOS in a while and don't recall episode names.

Most thrilling? "Bread and Circuses". I love the ending when Captain Merrick decides to redeem himself and help Kirk, he gets stabbed but before he dies he throws Kirk's communicator to Kirk and Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are beamed up amidst heavy gun machine fire.

The doomsday machine, hands down!! It's Well paced, has great soundtrack, lots of cool ideias, suspense, drama, action...It just can't get better than that!

But there's no gorgeous half-dressed female guest star

I loved that music used in the second season especially during Bread and Circuses! It really brought you into the action with Kirk, Spock and Bones!

IDK - I like "The Doomsday Machine" a lot - BUT; wouldn't a photon torpedo (which is supposed to be an anti-matter warhead; and has been shown decimating large starships):
1) Have a higher effective yield then 97.835 megatons
2) Effectively be fired down into the Maw of the machine

But it seems the crew (aka scriptwriter) conveniently forgot the ship was equipped with them.

Ah, but ...

KIRK: Go.
WASHBURN: We made a complete check on structural and control damage, sir. As far as we can tell, something crashed through the deflectors and knocked out the generators. Somehow the antimatter in the warp drive pods has been deactivated.

If antimatter can be (somehow) deactivated in the warp pods, presumably it can be (somehow) deactivated in the photon torpedoes too. Which fits seamlessly with nobody mentioning photon torpedoes at all.

.....The Naked Time would get my vote.....Lots of unusual things happened....they get the power back from Riley ...they have to complete a mission where Kirk, Spock and the crew are not operating at their peak maximum.
