Most Thrilling Episode of TOS?

Arena, one of my favourite episodes! A story that tells you that not all reptilian Tyrannosaurus monsters are what they seem and Kirk discovers that a lot of alien Gods look very Greek in their get ups when explaining why they're so much better than we are!

I'm curious what you all think is the most thrilling episode of TOS. Like, what has the most exciting plot?
What about Friday's Child. There was a lot of action on the planet. Kirk and Spock rig communicators to act as an improvised disruptor. The main characters on the ship get some action, more than just stating things to Kirk for exposition.

The Tholians were well known to the crew of The Enterprise but alas we never really got to see any more of them in the future spin offs!

I like Tholien Web too... the web is slowly but steadily trapping them, but Amok Time is my nail biter.

Yes, just the sound of the title, 'The Tholian Web', is cool. And the fight scene between Kirk and Spock in AT is a classic.

The doomsday machine, hands down!! It's Well paced, has great soundtrack, lots of cool ideias, suspense, drama, action...It just can't get better than that!
To be honest I find the way they deal with the Doomsday machine is pretty obviously the only thing Kirk could try. Though Kirk is very cool in the countdown and I like episodes like this with a lot of Jeffries' tube action.

IDK - I like "The Doomsday Machine" a lot - BUT; wouldn't a photon torpedo (which is supposed to be an anti-matter warhead; and has been shown decimating large starships):
1) Have a higher effective yield then 97.835 megatons
2) Effectively be fired down into the Maw of the machine

But it seems the crew (aka scriptwriter) conveniently forgot the ship was equipped with them. ;)

[In the same manner they forgot they had Shuttlecraft and a shuttlebay while Sulu and Co. were freezing to death waiting for the Transporter to be repaired in "The Enemy Within" ;)]
